We try to keep the rules to a minimum, but in addition to the Caravan and Motorhome Club Rules, we so ask you to observe the following, in order to make your stay as pleasant as possible, and keep our neighbours happy!
- ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
- You may arrive any time after 1:00 pm on the day of arrival.
- You must depart the site prior to 12:00 on the day of departure.
- Please bring a copy the booking information with you and take care to ensure to use the correct pitch. If you enter the wrong pitch, we will ask you to move to the pitch you booked, regardless of any inconvenience this may cause.
- BOOKINGS
- All stays must be pre-booked.
- Parties of more than four persons in one pitch attract an additional charge of £5/person/night. No bookings will be accepted for parties of over six persons.
- Only current Caravan and Motorhome Club members may use the site. We carry out checks on the validity of every single membership number we are supplied.
- Anyone arriving without a booking must contact the site proprietors, Phil and Claire Hindmoor, on 016973 43615, before entering the site.
- We may ask anyone not having a booking to leave. The site is checked regularly against our bookings information.
- CANCELLATIONS
- Please notify us as soon as possible if you are unable to fulfil your booking. This allows others to take advantage of the pitch, and gives us a chance to recover the loss of income from your cancellation.
- We do, at our discretion, allow stays to be moved to other dates within the same calendar year, provided we have a vacancy and the stay is the same length or longer. In this case, we will move your deposit.
- In all other cases, except where you are legally prevented from fulfilling the booking due to COVID-19, we do not refund deposits.
- PAYMENT
- All stays must be paid for prior to arrival by bank transfer, using the bank details provided in our booking email. If this is not possible, we ask you to contact us to arrange full payment before you arrive at the site.
- QUIET SITE
- Out of respect for your fellow caravanners and those who live nearby, please be quiet between the hours of 10:00pm and 08:00am.
- We will ask any who do not respect this to leave and no refund will be given.
- EV CHARGING
- No charging of electric vehicles from the site power supply is permitted without prior consent, whether direct to the site power connection or via a connection from the caravan when hooked up to the site power supply, unless by prior written consent from the owner.
- DOGS
- We are more than happy for you to bring well behaved dogs with you to the site.
- Dogs must be kept under control and must not be allowed to disturb others on the site, either by noise, by entering other pitches, or being allowed to roam free.
- If you leave a pet in your caravan or awning when you are out, please make sure it has ventilation and water, and is not prone to bark when left alone. Please do not leave electric heaters running in the awning for your pet.
- Please ensure that you always clean up after your dog and dispose of any poo bags in the site black waste bin.
- Please keep your dog on lead when outside the park, as the park is surrounded by farmland.
- REFUSE
- Please be sure to keep the site tidy.
- Refuse bins have been provided in the Service Area.
- Please compact your refuse as much as possible, crushing cans and bottles to save space in the bins.
- Please use the recycling facilities to minimise non-recycled waste on the site.
- Please wash and dry any plastics, tins or glass that are dirty or have food residue on them, before recycling. We sort the recycling by hand. If dirty items are placed in the recycling, it means the whole batch must be discarded, which is a real shame and easily avoidable.
- Please take large items such as broken deckchairs, umbrellas, large boxes, quilts and toasters (any electrical appliances in fact!) home with your for disposal, we have no means of disposing of them.
- MEMBERSHIP
- The site is provided for Caravan and Motorhome Club members only.
- All who use the site must be careful to follow the club’s policies on use of CL sites
- No stays can exceed 28 nights.
- Caravans and motorhomes must be occupied each night of the stay, no use of the site for short term storage is permitted.
- MAINTENANCE/AWNING USE
- In order to keep the grass in good condition it is cut twice each week. It takes around one to two hours to do this. We try to minimise the disruption this causes, but we ask that you help out the grass cutting man by moving your car if possible, to allow the pitch to be cut easily and quickly.
- Awnings are permitted, but we ask that you place them on the hard standing alongside your caravan. Placing an awning on the grass makes it impossible for us to maintain the grass in the pitch during your stay and also kills the grass underneath.
Thanks for reviewing this information, we do appreciate it. We hope that it makes your stay and that of your fellow visitors more enjoyable.
