As part of our commitment to keep the site a safe place, free from COVID-19, and on the basis of government guidance and advice from the Caravan and Motorhome Club, we have conducted a COVID-19 Secure Risk Assessment.
As a result of this, several changes have been made. The following Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) should help you to understand the changes.
How do I make a safe contact-free arrival?
The site is already well set up to allow this. Just check that you are heading to the correct pitch from your booking information, drive directly to it and pitch up as normal. After connecting up your water and power, please ensure you wash your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds.
How do I pay for the balance of my stay? Will you still be visiting on our first night?
Sadly, this aspect of our usual practices has had to change. We won’t visit each customer on their first night. No doubt we will see you around from a (safe) distance throughout your stay though, and you can always still contact us with any problems on 01697 343 615 or by email at email@example.com
As a result of this, your stay will need to be paid by Bank Transfer before you arrive. You can do this on the morning of your first day or earlier if you wish our bank details are:

Please ensure you put the pitch number and your surname in as the reference so we know you have paid.
If you are unable to pay this way, please contact us directly before your stay, to arrange an alternative payment method.
Will the CL Bathroom be open?
As of July 2021, we have been able to fully reopen the bathroom facilities. When using the bathroom, please use the ‘ENGAGED/VACANT’ slider on the outside of the CL Bathroom door as well as a hand sanitiser station.
Please do not enter if the bathroom is ENGAGED. Please slide sign to ENGAGED when you enter and back to VACANT when you leave. If you forget, the bathroom will be unavailable indefinitely for others! Only those from one pitch/family/group will be allowed to use the bathroom facilities at the same time.
Will the Service Area/Recycling/Grey Water/Chemical Disposal Point be open?
The service area/refuse bins/grey water/chemical disposal points will be available. Please observe social distancing and try to avoid using this area when someone else is already there. Please use the supplied hand sanitiser before and after touching anything in this area, including taps, refuse bins and the handle on the motorhome chemical disposal point.
What if I am feeling ill? Should I still come?
This is very important. If you are displaying any symptoms of COVID-19, please stay at home. Don’t put us and other customers at risk by visiting.
If there is a case of COVID-19, we will contact you and ask you to supply the names and contact details of everyone in your party. You are agreeing to do so by going ahead with your stay. Please download and use the NHS COVID-19 App.
All the gates and doors are open, should I close them?
Normally, we would say ‘yes!”, but at the moment, only the CL Bathroom door should be kept closed. All other gates and doors will be propped open to minimise the risk of infection from door handles and gate latches.
